Date:
Sunday, August 1st, 2010
Jesse Hamilton began making sculpture from water tanks and the like in ‘92, and made it into a full time ocupation in 2008, using whatever materials available to him at the time.
His gardens and out door working area are laboratories for light, Sun, Moon, Water, Earth, Steel - Aluminum and wood. Turtles live in a tank which “is” the perfect pond, in all of its essential elements. (ancient Japanese Recipe). Hand fed, they love visitors!
He has always tried to use reclaimed steel and machinery, as most of us do, His studio is located in Acampo, CA in the historic McCormack Wiliams and Dancing Coyote Winery.
It boasts an 80’ tower with amazing views of the surrounding lands, the skies overhead are the inspiration for many of the cuts on his Brazziers.
