MatrixArts is having a benefit for MatrixArts KidsLit, on Sunday December 5th, at the CastleDab, 2014 23rd Street, Sacramento, CA from 2 pm to 7 pm. The Castle Dab is the home of MatrixArts education director, Maryellen Burns and her husband Leo Dabaghian. It’s celebrating its 100th year, too, and will be looking kind of sparkly.

The Camellia City Flute Choir was established in 1999 and has entertained to the delight of audiences in the Sacramento Valley. The flute choir performed its first concert in the beautifully decorated State Capitol Rotunda as part of the California Capitol Museum ‘s Holiday Music Program. In the 11 years since its founding this concert has become the annual signature performance for their ensemble.
Michelle Coyle is a 19 years old artist from the Sacramento area. She enjoys time spent riding her horse and hanging out with her boyfriend. Besides painting, she works full time at only one job, after having working two part time jobs for the past three years. She lives by the motto: “Work hard, play hard.”
Eryn is a California digital artist whose art speaks for itself. She started drawing at the age of 6, and it only took her an additional six years before she realized she wasn’t any good at it.
Erin was born and raised in Sacramento. She has spent the last seven years taking care of her beautiful daughter Mia, working and completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business at CSUS (she graduated in Dec 2008). Erin’s passion for art and love for jewelry have her excited about the opportunity to share the beauty of her designs and fashion sense (and of course her standards of quality) via her website. She has been in the business of designing and teaching the different techniques of handmade jewelry for the last 10 years.
Tiaja began dancing when she was a child in Northern California. Her dance background includes studying ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and choreography at UNLV, SFSU and CSU Long Beach. She later began belly dancing which captivated her so, that she immediately felt the need to enhance her knowledge by studying and researching the culture and history of this graceful and enchanting art.
Milagro Emelina Fiedler is 22 years old and lives in Williams, CA. At 5’2 and 105 pounds, she likes to have fun and also likes to model for local fashion designers. She wanted to be model since she was a little girl. Willing to travel for work, she mostly likes being with her family as they are very important to her life.
Victor Louis is a Fashion Designer - Illustrator. He has been inspired by design since early childhood. His belief is that every woman has beauty. According to him, when you wear his couture designs, the feeling of glamour, glitz and elegance will emerge.
A local mother/daughter venture, Cheek Thrills has provided face painting services for over 6 years. They use only FDA compliant hypoallergenic Face and Body paints, and cosmetic grade glitters that are easily removed with soap and water.
